We built Ritual for the nights that matter—the celebration, the reconciliation, the Tuesday you want to feel like a guest in your own home. Too often, “dinner at home” still means someone stuck at the stove while everyone else laughs in the next room. We thought that was the wrong trade.

A note from the founder
Jerome J. Brown · Founder
I started Ritual because I kept seeing the same gap: people who love food, love people, and love their homes—yet the night still collapsed into logistics. Someone had to shop. Someone had to cook. Someone had to miss the first course because the sauce needed one more minute. The room was full, but the host wasn’t really in it.
I grew up around tables where showing up mattered. Hospitality, for me, isn’t performance in a dining room full of strangers. It’s care—shown in the place where your life actually happens. That’s why we put the chef in your kitchen. Not to make your home a restaurant, but to give you back the part of the evening money can’t buy: your seat at your own table.
We’re building this with intention: great food and great craft belong everywhere real life is lived—not only on the coasts or behind a velvet rope. If Ritual does its job, you stop thinking about us and start remembering who was across from you when the candles burned down.
